By accessing or using this website (the “Site”) you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. Description of the service

The Site provides a free, informational utility that displays the public IP address your browser presents, together with approximate network and geolocation details obtained from third-party APIs, plus educational content about IP networking and online privacy.

3. Accuracy and no professional advice

IP geolocation is approximate by nature and may be inaccurate or outdated. Information on the Site is provided for general educational purposes only and is not security, legal or professional advice. Do not rely on it for decisions where accuracy is critical.

4. Acceptable use

  • Use the Site for lawful, personal, non-destructive purposes only.
  • Do not attempt to disrupt, probe or overload the Site or the third-party APIs it uses.
  • Do not send automated bulk queries through the Site; the underlying APIs enforce their own rate limits and terms.
  • Do not misrepresent the output of the tool as precise location data or as proof of identity.

5. Intellectual property

The written guide, FAQ and design of the Site are original content. Map data is © OpenStreetMap contributors, and the Leaflet library and fonts/icons are provided under their respective open licenses. You may not republish the Site's content wholesale without permission.

6. Third-party services and links

The Site depends on third-party services (including one of ipapi.co, ipwho.is or FreeIPAPI for geolocation, tried in order; ipify.org for IP-version checks; and OpenStreetMap tile servers) and links to external websites. Their availability and content are outside the Site's control, and their own terms and privacy policies apply to your interactions with them.

7. Advertisements

The Site displays ads served by Google AdSense. Ads are clearly distinguished from editorial and utility content, and the Site does not endorse the advertisers or their products and services.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, availability, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Site and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site or its output.
